It's not normal.
I had a large orange sized cyst on my ovaries burst whilst 3 months pregnant.
I had no bleeding whatsoever, just some discomfort when it happened.
You really need to see your doctor, as that amount of blood loss can be really dangerous. It plays havoc with your iron levels.. that can ultimately be life threatening.

During puberty I had cysts that were the size of grapefruits.
I felt major pain when they popped, there was no change in my menstrual cycle.
I would suggest you make an appointment with a specialist, your bleeding all month long is not normal.
Good Luck.

first off you need to see your Dr ASAP!!! When a cyst burst you shouldn't bleed like that. If you don't think your Dr is telling you the right info than you need to see another Dr but get it taken care of fast...all bleeding can turn into more problems
