Nope nothing destructive... you have bad information. By the way, meteors hit the earth every day -- many times.

Meteors enter Earth's atmosphere daily (usually small ones that burn up on entry). I have not heard of anything large enough heading our way, and by large, I mean something that would like a fair hole in the Earth's surface. I wouldn't worry....it something WAS coming, the public would be the LAST to know as the Gov't wouldn't want a mass panic on their hands. Keep your head high, and if you see a bright and large light streaming through the sky, cheer it on as it could be the end.

Our modern information of quantuum thought has many stange consequences that defy commonsense. i do contemplate whether there may be something we are lacking which will make all those epicycles upon epicycles remodel into an ellipse. yet on the different hand, lots of those unusual consequences look properly -examined. possibly we in simple terms ought to settle for that certainty is weird and wonderful. For astronomy, if we detect dark remember or a sensible use for its 11 dimensions the universe could look somewhat distinctive. for astrobiology, the biggest question for us is extraterrestrial beings... whether we study that there are some, or study that there 1are none (or a minimum of no longer something close). the two possibilities are frightening, yet i don't understand that's scariest.

The Hubble Telescope has discovered an asteroid that will pass below our communication satellites in 2012. It's not supposed to hit Earth. However, it will come so close that the Earth's gravity will have an effect on it. That's what concerns scientists. They don't know what will happen when it returns seven years later.

There are lots of heavenly bodies on a collision course. Fortunately most of them start to land around Washington D.C. and get scared away by all the hot air, or head for Los Angeles and get scared away by the crime.

I think it's 2012?
Coincides with the traditional date the Mayans say the world will end. Kinda freaky but so was the whole 'millenium bug' thing and all of that never happened.

Yes. It will pass within a few thousand miles in a few thousand years time - if technology doesn't try to destroy it meanwhile.
