i have a decent graphics card and powerful PC.it just says that i need to adjust the resolution and colour quality in display , which i did but i still had no luck?
like i said, ive never had this problem before
any suggestions, thanks

Playing DVD needs some decoder, install some somewhere which decodes DVD like NERO and others, this software usually come with your DVD drive.

If ur CD drive does support DVDs, then..

try Googlein 'n' downloadin/installn a program called AceMegaCode...

What about if you click on the library tab in WM11 and make sure videos and not something else is selected

did you install a codec pack for divx if so remove it to watch origanal dvds if u want to watch divx films then download vlc player

your cd rom must be not reading the dvd's so you have to show
to the engineer because it had happened with me and the
engineer said that the motor of the cd-rom is not working so it is unable to read
