I wouldn't panic, you have 2 good months! Just make sure you use them wisely but don't over do it or if you're like me you'll start waffling and writing cr@p lol! Best thing you could do is to start by writing out a plan of what you want to cover. You don't say what your dissertation is on, as science and humanities dissertations are set out different. Ones I've seen/done have been like so:
Humanities: Introduction, main body with sub sections, conclusions
Science: Intro and literature review, design/method, results, conclusions and recommendations.
Once you have in your mind how you want it set out - you may have had some guidelines from your lecturers? - and what you need to try to cover in each section do your research - quite a bit can be found on journal sites online which is quicker than searching through hard copies - Google Scholar can be useful, but usually only gives abstracts.
Don't forget to keep links and names of journals/books etc written down or in a word document for your references. If you can write them down as you go along it will be easier, it saved me a lot of time at the end and will stop you panicing about where you found something. If you can find articles in Adobe that's good too, as you can download and save those.
Don't forget that if it needs to be bound, you need it completed a week before the hand in date, to get this done.
You'll be fine! Good luck.

For a beginner like you, format or pattern which can be found in books about writing ,is a necessity. Otherwise you can search the net on how to write one. Eperienced researcher can develop dissertation in a week or two.
