if we don't occupy ourselves with entertainment- even if we feel guilty because we should be doing something else- then we feel too down, too low- to actually do what it is we need to do...
it gives us some balance, motivation, relief from the the things that are always left to do...
sometimes we just need a break.

enjoyment: the amount of pleasure or amusement somebody gets from something
No where does the definition of entertainment preclude enjoying
your work or the challenges of having so much to do.
