please help to erase this pre-concieved notion

its call "stage fright". when you are in front of an audience(no matter how big or small) take deep breaths to calm yourself and remember that the audience is just a bunch of people like you

a person with hesitate can never won the battle of life u have 2 b bold .so when u r in the front of audience /classmates take a deep breadth becalm Ur self and say whatever u like with confidence let it b wrong or people laugh at u .don't mind let them speak .

Perhaps you can begin by "practicing" publicly and asking others to "practice" speaking English with you. Then you will be able to ask others to regularly speak English around you as a way to "study" and it will also make them more comfortable speaking English with you.
