CFA? Do you mean Chartered Financial Analyst? There is no specific course to get the CFA. The CFA is recognized world wide. Hence, the guy in France does the same thing to get his CFA. It is made up of 3 exams given once a yr (except for the 1st which is twice). You can study on your own or take a prep class, sort of like the SAT classes. In order to get the CFA title, you also need 2 yrs work experience in the financial sector. You can still take the tests (and hopefully pass), but you won't be offiicial until you have the work experience. Bottom line; you can just walk in and take the exam if you want. You should be able to study on your own and pass.
