But many worms belong to different phyla.
For example, common round worm of man is Ascaris lumbrocoides. It belongs to Aschelminthes.
Tapeworm is a Platyhelminth.
Earthworm and Clamworm are annelids.
Glow worm is an insect.
Shipworm is a mollusk
Acornworm is a hemichordate.
Glass worm is a reptile.

yes .they belong to ivertibeta class if you are talking about earthworms they belong to the annelida phyllumm
there are many more worms in ivertibrates like tape worm ,etc.

well im exactly sure. Its deffenantly NOT an insect!! Insects have 6 legs and have 3 parts to its body (head, thorax, and an abdomen) so thats not even close to what a worm is.
