He's liberal on abortion, gun control and gay rights. He has committed adultry and been married three times. On a 1989 Phil Donahue show he said "I've said that I'll uphold a woman's right of choice, that I will fund abortion so that a poor woman is not deprived of a right that others can exercise, and that I would oppose going back to a day in which abortions were illegal." On Sean Hannity's show recently he said he supported the assault weapons ban and "reasonable regulations" on gun ownership.

And then there's this ...

Considering the way Bush turned left on education (signing the Kennedy authored education bill and turning his back on vouchers), entitlements (the drug bill) and spending (never vetoed a spending bill and signed the pork-filled transportation bill) Do Republicans REALLY want to risk picking a LIBERAL as their nominee?

Giuliani will do in spite of the Republicans choose him to do if he turns into President. The liberal media is portraying him to be extra liberal than he fairly is. Liberals will lose besides in 2008 as a results of fact they have not got any matters actual everyone seems to be attracted to. All they could do is ***** approximately Iraq and demand that individuals' significant concerns are the cost of healthcare and Al Gore's worldwide warming baloney. no person is waiting for good sized tax will strengthen, and that's fairly each and all of the Democratic occasion is prevalent for.

No, I'm not exactly thrilled with the field that the Republicans are prepared to trot out for the 08 elections. However, I would vote for Rudi before I would vote for any of the Liberal Socialists running on the Democratic ticket, particularly Clinton.

First of all, Timothy, do not speak of "Republicans" as a congealed mass with one unified mind. Guiliani does have some support among some Republicans. So to clarify what I hope you meant by this question, does Rudy have enough support to win the nomination? The answer to THAT question is ... I hope not.

They'd rather have Giuliani than Hillary, and he's probably their best shot. McCain gets the nod, and it comes out he's more right-wing than Bush. That won't go over so well, considering the growing anti-war sentiment and vote-out of Republicans in '06.

So, yeah. I can see them risking it. After all, would you rather pick Hillary?

Rudy has changed, he is no longer pro abortion or gay marriages.

I suspect he is playing politics, but what he runs on he can not change once in office, it would be a political death with his aproval ratings in his party.

To be honest i do not really adore any of my Rep choices, but out of all of them i like ruddy the most.

He is almost a Democrat. Yet considering the Democrats are now the Communists he will look almost as "Right" as Rush!
