If you could somehow launch a Satellites into Geostationary Orbit would you have to pay Nasa of one of those europian space agencies to keep your Satellites there

I believe there is a supervisory board that controls allocations for each of the locations in orbit.

Nobody owns space. If you had your own rocket that could lift something all the way to GS orbit, you could just lanch it. What is anyone going to do? Shoot it down? (No one yet has the capability of shooting down a GS satellite. China nailed one in low earth orbit a few months ago, though.)
