that seems to be what the media says the mainstream culture is focused on. and its the people who believe it that follow that idea.

MTV culture maybe. The people I know dont care about money. We think money is a means to an end not an end using any means. This also negates materialism. Violence is not an issue with my peeps and we have plenty of drugs so...no I disagree.

Yea! Turn on your TV and tell me what you see. When you go to work find one person who doesn't want more money. Go to the mall and see you can't find one person intoxicated by alcohol or drugs. While standing in line to pay for your groceries take a look at those magazines lining the isle and love those sexy bodies. Yea, materialism.

I fully agree with that. Life is more than money or any other immediate pleasures. Best things in life are free. We need to learn our children about moral choices. To love and to respect your neighbor (each and every person you can see around you)
