There were real pine trees there, and my "horizon" was a train bridge that ran across the road just down from my house. I remember how the sun moved through the days and months and years there.....*sigh*...I miss home.....

I used to live on the vast expanse of the midwestern plains. I could look out over grasslands for miles around. One of the most beautiful sights that I've ever seen is watching a thunderstorm move across the plains.

I do. We lived on a hill, so I could see pretty far from my bedroom window. There were these group of condo's in the distance that whenever the sun set, they would be illuminated and glowing.
