Is it better than Alton Towers? Is it worth going there for a day out??

Well I haven't been to Drayton Manor but I would say its not the greatest park for their coasters. If your looking for thrills I'd say Alton Towers since they have Nemesis, Oblivion, and Air. Oblivion is a very good coaster from what I've heard. Its a B&M Dive Machine coaster. It just has a vert drop and no elements(Elements mean Inversions or loops as what people reffer them as.) Next Air is a B&M flying coaster good too. Next Nemesis is good as well and on peoples Top 10 coasters.

Drayton Manor isn't as large as Alton Towers, but for it's size it's not bad. I've been several times in the past and my favourite ride was the Shock Wave, which is a roller coaster that you ride standing up. The zoo is small and just a secondary attraction to the rides.
I haven't been there for a few years so imagine that they've added new rides since then. I suggest you check out their web site to see for yourself what they have to offer.

It good but not as good as Alton Towers. Drayton Manor really is for the younger kids (under 10) They only have a few big rides for the bigger kids.

Its okay, as the last answer said, its better for younger kids but the zoo is really depressing. All the animals look like they want to commit suicide. To be fair though I would if I were caged 24hrs a day!
The rides are good and its a full day out but food is really pricey, but you find that at all attractions really.

i dont know. but theme parx r always worth it so i would go but hey thats me.
