It is not the profession that makes teaching noble, it is the teacher themselves.

If students don't realize their responsibilities and are not obedient and sincere, it it more to do with their family life, with peer pressure, with the parental controls, and to the teachers themselves. Ultimately, the student must take ownership of the responsibility for learning for her/himself.

After all, you can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink it.

Maybe, but I think the profession is noble. Those who do it, perhaps are the ones who are not noble. The nobility of the said profession depends on who does it.
