They couldn't care less before, don't talk to you, look at you, acknowledge your presence at all, but if you ever say one of their acquaintances is good-looking, then they have a massive go at you for having such bad taste. What is the deal with that? How does it affect them? Insecurity complex?
(p.s. The girls I say good-looking actually are - my male friends agree with me).

When women don't speak or even acknowledge you, that's just arrogance and rudeness; one wonders what makes them think they're above speaking to a fellow human. Having said that, to respond to you in that way when you mention the merits of a good looking woman, they must be very insecure regarding their own looks; they feel threatened and jealous, so retaliate. Each one of them wants to be the object of your admiration and desire, even though they're not particularly interested in you - it's all about ego.

Chicks need to think they are the best. They are the prettiest. They may not be but you have to keep them feeling like they are. They live in their own little delusional world where what you say matters and not the truth. Do you think this makes me look fat? If that question pops in her head it probably does. Get over being fat or get ON A stairmaster. We dont judge each other based on looks. BC we dont care. They say WE are the visual gender. But I disagree.

They probably feel insecure with their own looks and ,instead of hearing you say their friends are good looking ,think you are saying their friends are better looking than them . Don't forget men and women hear things differently. If you say something good about their looks at the same time you will probable get away with it .

Congratulations you've answered your own question. Insecurity complex is the answer. Women are constantly comparing themselves to each other and if you think one of them is better looking than the other then you have made one of them feel insecure. Thats life.

Yeah! That's the female species for you. Most girls have self-confidence issues, so by putting down other people they boost their own confidence. No matter how beautiful the other person is they will still find somthing mean to say about that person. We just need to find our self-esteem and stop hating on others.

Its an insecurity thing, thing is some men never tell their partners or wife they are beautiful but will say it about other women and that is pretty low down trick to do, I never feel like that myself as my hubby tells me everyday how beautiful I am and it never bothers me if he says other woman are beautiful either, were very secure in our marriage.

you have already answered your own question insecurity def,also jealousy it is OK for woman to appreciate another woman,but when a man does it...yeah think that attitude is very childish,but if my boyfriend did it....he would die a very slow and painfull death!! x
