what happens when we pass supply of about 230v over a ligthning aresster?

when the lightning strucks whether it effects the line which giving 230v or both the current will send into the earth if it so how....

230V is way too low to conduct through air. That is there will be no sparks. However, if you touched a 230V wire to a lightning arrester pole, the contact point would explode due to the intense heat of a high current, causing the next upstream fuse or circuit breaker to trip. Make sure you wear eye protection before trying.
