My great grandmothers wedding ring. I wear it around my neck, and when I get married I will wear it on my finger. She was only married for 2 years before her husband died and raised 2 children on her own and lived until she was 104. All up she was a widow for 84 years. Amazing woman.

book....My grandpa is my best friend.I always knew from the time I was a kid I would give him the best gift he had ever had before in his life.It had to be something that showed him what he meant to me.It took me over 30 yrs. to think of it,anyway,I wrote a poem to him for his 89th.birthday to put in this card I made for him.Everyone that read it told me I should get it published including him.On Christmas the following year.I gave him the book with my poem on the very first page. And the preacher read it at his funeral.

My ring.I haven't taken it off since it was given to me on my birthday 4 years ago.My grandma died and left it for me. So my parents had is sized and gave it to me.It sounds corny but I feel closer to her when I'm wearing it that's why I don't take it off.
