Absolutely not. If you're crap at something, you're crap. If you're not talented, you're not. If you failed an exam, you failed. You CAN pay someone to do something for you, even write a thesis or bribe them to turn a failed paper into a passed one, and you can seem to be a success -but at the end of the day... you remain crap.

I DO believe, however, that money can buy happiness.

No, money is not but it serves as the catalyst for success. Innovation, inspiration, political ability, relationships, and inheritance are the true routes of success. If you create a new invention, preach a theory, lobby in social circles, or are born to the right parent you will succeed despite your true character.

Success is such a vague and ambiguous term. What you may deem "success", I might say is not. Success means many things to many people. Success may mean:

Lots of money

Fame

Advanced education

Being highly thought of in your field of endeavor

Being highly thought of in your community

Being a good mother/father

So, sometimes money does lead to success but not necessarily. It all depends on what we're talking about as "success".

Learning to love yourself and others is the route to success doing that and being loved in return is the destination.

It depends on your definition of success; I have raised two wonderful daughters who have compassion and empathy, they are not drug addicts, pregnant or selfish brats; I am loved by my family and friends and respected by my co-workers. I'm not a millionaire, but I consider myself very very successful.
