sure it is....sounds like most marriages and I applaud you for being honest and stating your true feelings. After so many years of marriage most couples do look at their relationships in the same exact manner as you...I believe in your own way you are happy. Your happiness is different then other peoples , and you know you are quite content with your husband now. I think you and him love each other much more then you realize...Good luck and enjoy the grandchildren when they start coming...

A platonic relationship is a love relationship but has no sexual desire. You asked if it is possible to just want this in a marriage. I can only say these type of relationships have their positive and negative side to it... it really depends how long you've been married too. The possibility of either you or him is open for another type of love to come in... and that could be true love with all the sexual desires included. Great topic to debate on.

I think it is possible. Focusing on the little things, those details that he does only for you... it is difficult, but if you want to stay with him I think you can learn to be happy with him and he might notice that he can aswell.
Those every day things that you don`t really have to do for him might show him some affection, that you care, and maybe just a nice comment from him might make you feel like you`re in heaven. The idea of the possibility of making a new start with someone new may be the trigger to your doubts.
But, if you`re not happy with him, end it. Give it just one more try and think things over.

confident its achieveable. I do think of, however, that throughout that undertaking the buddy has to comprehend that because of the fact her platonic buddy is married there might could be some obstacles with connection with the style and quantity of time she spends with the guy. In different words, such platonic acquaintances shouldn't do something like bypass away for the weekend to the mountains the way the guy might along with his male acquaintances. Platonic acquaintances - sure. relationship precisely the comparable as friendship with acquaintances of the comparable intercourse - not somewhat, upload some actual looking and considerate (and sensible) obstacles to eliminate ability problems of one variety or yet another.

Sure, just stop focusing on what bugs you about your husband. It's normal for everyone to be annoyed by those they love sometimes! It doesn't mean you don't love eachother deep down. Focus on what you like about him. There's got to be something.

Yes it is possible to have a plutonic relationship if that is what you both want. If you are unhappy then leave it sounds like your unhappy. I would never stay in relationship that I made me miserable.
