not sure if i have spelt this right but when i was a child i would hear my mother say after a couple of friends had fallen out. "they will be as thick as inkle weavers in a bit" never knew what the phrase ment!

I found this:-

INKLE WEAVERS. Supposed to be a very brotherly set of
people; 'as great as two inkle weavers' being a proverbial
saying.

Probably the same as:- 'as thick as theives'
