Well, the rest of the world calls it stained glass and the copper foil technique or lead came technique and the metals are never melted by the user. There is a technique of making fused glass panels where the glass is melted together, but these metals are not involved. The source below should be able to direct you to classes even tho they don't seem to offer any.
