What the hell is this synthethic turf talking about? We're talking about FOOTBALL and Berlin was the example. Actually most football stadiums have natural grass and if there was a good trick to avoid a muddy pitch we all were happy. But the fact is there's a layer under the grass where the water can flow to and as this doesn't always work properly most clubs have to renew their pitch once or twice a season. Besides that good lawn doesn't get muddy just from a heavy rain shower, need to rain days for that.

Artificial turf, or synthetic turf, is a grass-like man-made surface manufactured from synthetic materials. It is most often used in arenas for sports that were originally or are normally played on grass, however, it is now being used on residential lawns and commercial applications, as well.
