Didn't get the response i hoped for, what are they legalities involving photography and taking candid shots of
I want to do candid shots of people in public places, can i use those images to sell, or publish without permission. remember public places like busstops, parks, ext..... as a part of my collection
If not how have professionals gotten away with this over the years with celebrities and newspapers

I believe the trick is to shoot and sell first, ask questions later. Get the pictures you want, and if anyone sues, apologize and promptly remove the pictures. That's what the grotesque gore-photo site Rotten.com does!

When we use photos of a candid nature we go with stock photography images. So maybe check with picture quest or jupiter images, maybe they can help answer your questions. When we use our own photos for pamphlets and brochures, we always get a photo release form from the people in the photos. They sign a paper saying yes we have permission to use this photo of them.
