if they are so concerned about iran's nuke, why is the project of the space shield over poland and not over israel?

I think we would be very surprised to know what Israel has in order to defend itself. I'm not talking about US military support either.

Um good question... Israel does rely 100% on support from the UN and USA... it's obvious why ex-Eastern bloc countries have it, so they are under the protection of the West in case they try all-out aggression to reclaim their territories. But the US has almost definately got the technology to reprogram and send off a flying Iranian nuclear warhead into space... if Israel hasn't got it then it's for political leverage...

I think it would look a tad provocative if the US put it over Israel. For one thing, it would amount to an official acknowledgment that Israel does indeed have nuclear weapons.

I wouldn't worry, though. The space shield won't work anyway.
