It is possible depending on the elasticity of her skin and the nature in which is would've ripped. Also how much it rips varies from woman to woman as well. No woman is the same down there, just as no man's penis is the same. So its all case by case. The size of the hole and the hymen is also dependent on the woman. Some women have almost no opening down there with the hymen and others you wouldn't be able to tell. The best way to find out if something is wrong is to go and see a doctor. By looking at the rip, they would be able to tell if it was something abnormal for her body.

No - it just tears the thin membrane open.
The hymen (name for the Greek God of marriage and weddings, Hymenaeus[1], later[2] also the Greek word for membrane[3]; also called maidenhead) is a fold of mucous membrane which surrounds or partially covers the external vaginal opening. It forms part of the vulva, or external genitalia. [4][5] Some girls are born without a hymen. [6] [7] The most common formation of the hymen is crescentic or crescent-shaped, although several other formations are possible.[8] A woman's hymen is destroyed when she gives birth; she may be left with remnants called carunculae mytriformes or the hymen may be completely absent.[9]

The hymen has no known anatomical function. In societies which value chastity, the greatest significance of the hymen is a traditional belief that an intact hymen indicates a state of intact virginity. However, it is not possible to confirm that a woman or post-pubescent girl is a virgin by examining the hymen.[10] A physician routinely checks the appearance of the hymen of baby girls at birth [citation needed], and again during all future pelvic examinations[citation needed]. In cases of suspected rape or sexual abuse a detailed examination of the hymen may be carried out, however the condition of the hymen alone is often inconclusive or open to misinterpretation, especially if the patient has reached puberty.[11]

the hymen is a paper thin membrane in 99.9% of women. Occasionally it can be thicker and then it needs to be surgically opened...this isusually the case when a young girl starts to menstrate and the blood keeps backing up into her vagina.
the other thing to realize that with the increased activity level of girls today compared to 2 hundred years ago is that the hymen usually tears long before their first intercourse (as a general rule)...because of bike riding, climbing trees, riding horses, tampons, gymnastics, karate....
the hole (as you put it) is large enough to pass a baby through, but as a general rule, it will accept a penis comfortably about the size of a large ear of corn..
if the younglady is lucky enough to have kept her hymen intact , then the first time that she has intercourse, it will tear very easily...
be sure to provide a condom, though for safety's sake....
good luck

It is not that far up inside you. My hymen was busted by my husband's finger.
I do not know how big or whatever but you do bleed after it has been busted, When we had sex for the first time i did not bleed because it was already busted.
