I rent privately in UK, lease runs out tomorrow I have asked to renew no new lease yet . Where do I stand?

I rent through a letting agency and have paid the registration fee last month, for which I have a receipt, they promised to send lease by post this week but I have not yet received it as of today. i'm not sure where I stand legally.

I'm sorry, not registration fee, I meant lease renewal fee.

I'd give it a few days, keep your receipt though. I lived most of the time in the uk without a rental agreement
