Hello,
All shops are a bit different in sizes but I also find Primark smaller. I guess it is to do with cheap manufacturing. I find I have to go up a size generally as the waist and arm sizes are tighter than a normal fit that I am used to.
Doesn't really bother me though as it is so cheap!

I like primark only I think that nowadays the sizes vary from shop to shop, it could be something to do with where they are made you could get a skirt in a 14 and it could be too big, it's trial and error now. So I don't think it's just primark M&S are big so you could find a 12 would fit you there.

In my experience I have found that Tops are smaller, and Jeans Trousers and skirts are bigger.
I have a feeling that Primark buy manufacturers seconds, and the fact that they buy from 3rd world countries whose sizing system is different.

I usually find they run bigger. I should be a size 10-12, but they only have 8-10 or 12-14, so I usually find the 8-10 fits.

for clothes, espescially Primark, try them on, they dont have a set size, since they are cheap they dont bother with correcting mistakes if they exist.
I'm a size 12 and i have bought a size 8 skirt and a 16-18 top.
they return policies are gd so use it.

Yes they are and the reason for this is that they are made in Asian countries where the people over there are in general are smaller than we are and they go by their sizes ...My health visitor told me this many moons ago when i mentioned to her about the varying sizes in kids clothes !
