A woman at my work is always laughing over everything & anything & it's high pitch, like a hyeena laugh, yes it's annoying.

Sycophantic laughter. The kind of laugh that is just laughing for the sake of laughing to make someone feel good about their crap joke. A false laugh.

I find when someone snorts it is funny not annoying, but a fake laugh would be annoying to me.

the fake kind, i laugh from the depths of my being, full blown belly laughs. i'd rather someone not laugh at all than the polite titter.

the aggravating variety. Joking, i imagine imagine the pretend ones the position someone did not truly get the comic tale and is in simple terms giggling to look sensible or the position they laugh to get actually everyone's interest one them.
