In my view, it is Gandhi..... a man who convinced millions of Indians to fight an independence war without any physical weapons whatsoever, just through adherence to truth and non-violence... and indeed got them freedom from foreign rule through sheer mental power from the most powerful British empire that ruled half the world. It is an incredible feat of political achievement through spiritual means that history had never even dared to imagine.

Well, my personal Idol is Audrey Hepburn. She was an extrodinary person. She had great talent, she was gorgeous. But above all the exterior, she was very humble. She never let her stardom and power get to her head. She stayed level headed throughout her entire career. Also, she gave back to the people. She never forgot where she came from and saved many people life. She fed the starving and devoted the last years of her life to giving to others. Now thats what i call one amazing human being. Its just a shame ill never be able to meet her.

Jesus Christ. Not theologically but philosophically.

Because if you examine his teaching from the philosophical view, you can find -I personally believe- all the answers not only about love etc. but about society, economics, environment. This, takes time and much attention it is true, but I think Jesus was the no.1 philosopher and his laws are not theoretic or theological but realistic and social, if only one can take time to study his teaching with open mind.
