I have played hockey once in the past 6 years and before that I was an excellent goalie. I played drop-in yesterday for 2 hours, did ok, let up a bunch of goals though. Why do I feel like I'm going to die today?

You use muscles in Ice hockey that most people dont even know they have you could be very well conditioned and still be sore the first week or two back on the Ice.

exactly what the other guy said. i played from when i was 8 until i was 10. then i started again when i was 13 and i was sooo sore the next day. u use muscle's in hockey that you don't normally use. so when you work them overtime and they're not well used and toned..they hurt like hell. try skating once in a while at free skates or something, or play a little more often and strech...it feels awesome
