Yes,it has been proved by the exploration done by Magellan.
I don't know about its circumference,but its diameter is 6400km and circumference can be founded by putting value of radius on formula-2 x pi x radius

It is more spherical than a pool ball. Even though it is a tiny bit flattened at the poles.
The equatorial circumference is 24,901.55 miles.
The polar circumference is 24,859.82 miles.
Thats only 0.1% difference - very spherical.

The Earth's actual shape is oblate spheroid,meaning it's slightly flattenend at the poles so its equatorial diameter is larger than its pole to pole diameter (by 43 km actually).Its diameter is 12742 km.
