I urge everyone to STAY AWAY from any of the candidates that the mainstream media is pushing on you. Do not vote for McCain, Giuliani, Obama, Edwards, Clinton etc. etc. They are all the same as they are all on the payroll of big business, so these don't work for you.

Vote for any of these and the following will happen:

-Illegal immigration will continue, your wages will plunge.

-Canada, Mexico and USA will be annexed into the North American Union, and you can kiss American sovereignty good bye.

-Full scale invasion of Iran and World War III.

Do you really want any of these things?

Ron Paul is the only person that deserves to be president...but he will get the good ol "JFK" if he even starts to do what he says he wants to do. I refuse to align myself with a political party...its frivolous and absurd to do so.

As an independent, I've heard of both. Kucinich spoke at my college in the 2004 primary race. He means well, but his ideals are too far out of line with much of America, and in all honesty, he would need a Congress with a supermajority of Democrats to get anywhere, and one-party leadership was disturbing from 2000-2006 as it was. Republican or Democrat, no one party should hold that much power, especially for that long. I would be most prone to voting for him if he were running against McCain or if I were to be certain that at least one house of Congress was going Republican.

Ron Paul is a very stalwart Libertarian, and I respect his integrity in that regard. However, the Libertarian party is disturbingly hands-off in regards to certain corporations which have shown reckless disregard for people. While the idea of killing pork projects such as a bridge to nowhere in Alaska is tempting, cutting funding for things such as interstate highways and public education is too much for my taste. However, I would consider voting for him in 2008 if I were certain that Congress would be in firm Democratic control, such that certain Libertarian issues (Mostly civil liberties) would pass through easily, while important social programs (such as public education) were not gutted.

Still, the Libertarians ran Michael Badnarik, who would have been pretty much in line with Ron Paul. Paul is already in a solid Congress position that gives his constituents a voice, he would be a fool to throw that away unless the unlikely case that he won the Republican primary did come around.

Idealists are charismatic, but sadly unrealistic.
