No, as there is no way to connect the guitar controller to it. The guitar controller absolutely needs a wired PS Controller plug, and the PS3 having only wireless input, doesn't provide one.

So, the game will start, and you can play with the standard Sixaxis controller, however this is very awkward and is no fun.

Yeah, i agree with the first person's answer, but I must add that possibly, sometime in the future, due to things like this, they may invent some kind of adapter for the USB ports on the PS3 so regular wired controllers can be used with them. Actually I'd bet like 10 bucks that they'd do that. So I'd just hold out for a little bit till that thing comes out

i was wondering that my self but u cant do that u would need a usb port which they havnt made yet
