your baby is 20 days old without a name? How sad!

Hello and congratulations Sudheer!

You see, if you do not explain some details of the type of your requirement then you would get answers like you have above.

Let us now guess that the "20 days old new baby" is from India or South Asian origin (your name suggests so). Here we do not name babies till they are born. Moreover, there are some restrictions in naming babies in different religions, like you can not have Christian sounding name for Hindu or Buddhists and such religions.

In Islam also there are restrictions, but as our prophets (Moses, Jesus and Muhammad) are more or less having 'acceptance' of each others faith, we are recently adopting a few names from the followers of The Books (Torah, Bible and Qur’an). This is not widespread phenomenon among these 3-groups of religions, but they would certainly NOT suitable or befitting to any Hindu or Buddhist baby-names.

I will suggest Lucky-7 Hindu names, starting with 'A', for this little guy:

1. Abhay .... a son of Dharma
2. Abhijit .... a constellation dear to Hari
3. Aditya .... lord of the sun
4. Ajay .... unconquerable
5. Akaash .... sky
6. Amar .... forever
7. Amit .... endless

Please let me know your final selection, even if that one is not from list provided by me.

Aaron - I really like Adam (my brothers name)

Also, some cultures do not name the baby straight away... they wait until the baptism/christening/mikvah etc to announce the name.
