Tell you honestly, Son/Daughter...

Good question... I honestly don't know. Logic tells me to save my daughter, but I don't yet have one and I love my partner very much.

I suppose in the situation I would weigh up who had the better chance - one might be trapped or something. Needless to say, if I could save both at the expense of myself, then I would.

On balance, my daughter would be in the lifeboat first. She is the future of my family and the continuation of me and my wife.

If they both had the same chances then my children would come first. If not I would have to save the one that was more likely to survive. Who knows? These questions are impossible to answer unless you are faced with the dilema and I hope I never am!!!

Well I'll put myself in the wife's shoes. Any mother/parent would want their child saved before themselves. So it's not such a hard question to answer.

jokes apart now, i would want my husband to help our children. I would probably be ok anyway cos i can swim, and we have three kids so we would prob both just have to put our all into saving them.Children are allways going to come first in any rescue. If my house was on fire, i would keep gioing back in to get my kids out no matter how much risk i put myself in, and if i couldn't possibly help my kids then i would stay in there with them and take my chances with them cos i would never want to live without my kids. They would haunt me forever and i couldn't live like that. Any parent should feel the same. No one wants their kids to go before them and you love them more than life itself.

From the question I can assume two people can survive. I would save them both and let myself slip below.
