Suns life is around 9 billion years of which around half is already passed. It means around 4-4.5 billion years are left now.

As of earth, around after 2.5-3 billion years from now, sun's outer Corrona will begin to expand as all the helium would burn off by then. The outer surface of the Sun will then began growing & will engulf the earth completely in next 1/2 billion years. Once the sun's
outer surface grows by 10% of todays surface area, the whole earth will be heated to so extreme temperature that all the atmospheric gases will heat up & escape earth's gravity, water in oceans will evaporate & average temp will rise to around 200Centigrde & thus wiping off all the signs of life

We are safe for now. The world will not becoming to an end anytime soon. My careful calculations show that the sun will explode about 6:37 AM est on Saturday 24, January in the year 2,000,000,007, give or take a couple of nano seconds.

I could be off a bit!

the sun's lifetime is somewhat 9.5billion years. Already 5 billion years over. But, Earth's life span depends on how well we keep it.
If global warming, exausting resourses, pollution, etc continues the earth's lifetime will me no more than 100 years or so.
