This is a question better asked on the Religion and Spirituality section but I will answer here.......

I am a believer. I have been an active practitioner of Hellenismos for over 20 years.

As for why, it is the faith that spoke to me and many others around the world. There is a movement in Modern Greece for Hellenismos to be more widely accepted there and there is even a video titled "I still worship Zeus" available at https://www.nationalfilmnetwork.com/store/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductID=182

No I would not. The greek/roman gods were only godly in that they would live eternally; however they actually had more flaws that most humans.

I personally need a god who is supreme, and allows me to have faith in the goodnees of the world or my life by his perfectness. I need the rock that is the Christian idea of God.

Greek/Roman gods did not love as the real one does and that is why it is not practiced.

I believe that the root of the Greek and Roman "gods" are the Nephilim mentioned in the Bible in Genesis, Read it and see what you think. I think it's in Chapter 6, but I'm not certain.
