Totally agree if every professional footballer was to give say 5% of there wages per week to some sort of charity alot of problems could be solved.
However different players earn different amounts of money. The high earners probably wouldn't miss it, but some one who's not earning as much might do.
If there are premiership players giving money to nurses then this is fantastic but i don't think this will happen.

Too right! Footballers are way way overpaid. They have no right to the vastly stupid sums of Money they earn in the professional game.
Also if they are well know, just look at the extra money they make from advertising and sponsorship.
Quite frankly if every premiership football player donated 25% of their wages to Charity or Good Causes they would not feel the pinch at all.
I am unemployed at the moment, yet I still donate £10 of My benefits to charity.

I agree they could give more, but at least they're doing something, not gonna criticise them for that.I do know that apart from club organized hospital visits and the like, that there are a lot of players off their own back who give to charity financially, and also donate their time to good causes. So hats off to those who do these things. There's nobody more than me who disagrees with the extortionate wages that some players get,but i also give credit where it's due.

That is unbelievably good, however dint you think its greedy..one day a months wage can really help, besides they dint really need it because they get payed alot. Nice point.
