An unwed mother is easy to spot. The unwed father isn't. I think both are causes for concern, however, our society finds it easiest to concentrate on the mothers and to ignore the fathers.

Good point ! ! ! Problem is unwed fathers walking around out there are not so much noticed as an unwed mother is...why?...because the unwed woman shows the belly/pregnancy or after the baby is born the unwed father is generally not with the baby...the mother is...so she is noticed more and gets the looks / comments etc.

Because usually the mother is left to raise the children and it's a pain in the a$$ to collect child support so they often times struggle to make ends meet with raising children and providing at the same time. My heart goes out to single mothers. But it should be a lesson to all...that marriage is for a reason. Yeah things happen, but don't spread your legs unless you plan on being with that person, at least long enough to raise well adjusted kids.
