i need to know how to put costs to a company

first calculate the cost of materials (be realistic) dont forget transport

finally profit margin

You can find out what the competion do. You do also need to know your own costs tho, which are fixed costs - your costs regardless of how much business you actually have, so stuff like ladders, buckets, vans, insurance etc.

The variable costs - these go up/down depending upon what your business is like- so stuff like clothes, petrol for the van etc.

Add all together, add a bit more for luck (or contingency for busines terms) and then divide by the number of days you think you can get work - give you a basic cost structure. Add your profit margin and you have a ready-made quote.

Call around and get quotes to see what the competition is charging and then figure out how much you need to charge to keep a business open. Don't automatically go under them or you might not stay afloat financially. Also try giving away a "deal" or "special" until you get a regular clientel.
