Do you know why a divorce is so expensive? because it is worth it. THe laws are sleighted against men. Pay the large amount for a family law attorney.

There are a lot factors to answering this question... Do u have kids? What state do u live in? How much property is there to divide? The list goes from there.
Here was my experience, I live in Texas and had one child in the marriage, I believe I payed the lawyer like $800 and it took 90 days.
If there are no kids and nothing to fight for you can get you a real cheap lawyer or file the thing yourself, filing fee in Texas is $200. In Texas it takes 90 days to get it granted.
First step is to break out the yellow pages and start calling Family Lawyers.
A divorce is a whole lot cheaper than a hard marriage, in more ways than just monetary.

Are you sure you want a divorce? There is no problem that we cannot solve. But of course, if you insist, you can always consult a lawyer perhaps? Good luck my man!
