Like night and day.
High School - You can still be a child. You are in a safe, controlled environment where most everything is mapped out for you, your classes, course of study, PE, extracurricular activities, time spent there, etc. You live at home under parental control, with some varying degrees of freedom, but still have to follow the rules under the roof. Mom & Dad are footing all if not most of your bills, keeping a roof over your head, feeding you, etc.
Classes - These classes are "free" - you do not have to pay for them, the funding comes from property taxes and the U.S. Government. Some schools pass you anyway regardless of your grades.
College - You must grow up now and become an adult. You have to make all the decisions for yourself regarding your education, decide what course of study you want to take. Where to live - dorm, Greek House (if accepted), or off-campus. What to do - party all night long or study for the mid-term. Take responsibility for your own safety, handling money, doing your own laundry, cooking for yourself, cleaning your room or apartment.
Classes - If you don't pass your college classes, you can get kicked out of the dorm in some cases, and you don't get your money back. After all, you or your parents are PAYING for these classes and you have to get at least a 2.0 GPA in most classes to pass. No one is going to miss you if you don't show up in class, but you are graded on papers and assignments.
Like I said, like night & day. Gee, I sure wish that I was a kid again in High School!

I could write a book on this question! Highschool life consists of the teacher being in charge, teenagers learning or should I say some are wanting to learn some don't care and also your parents take a big role in whats going on with your learning skills and grades. College-look out! Some students think its party time and don't try as hard to get a better education especially if the parents are footing the bill and then there are some who work their tail off (like my daughter who is now working on her PHD). College life you are usually away from home and live on or around campus and you have control of what you do when your not in class.

nicely the first element is freedom, you're not to any extent further required to do some thing, an celebration of it really is in a school classification you could in simple terms upward push up and depart lots of the time (pending on how huge the classification is), in intense college you should ask permission, different issues comprise there is not any gown code, lots of the time you could %. what time you pass to classification. lots of the time the campus is larger then intense college. you're dealt with at an individual, practise are harder lots of the time. the finest element is you do not ought to pass each day if u do not pick to and maximum practise are 2 or 3 days per week.

There is a marked difference between high school life and college life. In the high school one is expected to wear his/her uniform, follow the prescribed syllabus etc In the college one is quite free. He /she is free to choose what line stream of studies to follow. In the college one is expected to be a matured person, therefore rules and regulations are formulated keeping this in mind. More freedom is given to the individual in the college.

High school life was a lot more controlled. The teachers sat you down and told you when to do what and went through it piece by piece. At Uni the tutors dont care if you do your work casue its your lose. They aren't there to make sure you go to class, do your assignment/homework.

Of course they are different. Let's see the aim of study first, to know why we study in High School and why we study in college. After we graduate from high school, we tend to continue our study to higher level such as college or university. but studying in a college is to prepare someone to work, to get a job he/she wants, to prepare someone to be an employee.
