some questions about "the Odessey" (by homer)?

What are some flaws that Oddeseus has in the beginning of the book that he over comes in the end? Any quotes (if you dont give me any that is fine, but if you have a link or somthing, please post). Also, do yall have any quotes that discribes how some of the women in the book are sterio typed?

If you think about the reason why The Odyssey happened at all, then you will realise what Odysseus' major flaw is: hubris and one which he continues to battle with throughout The Odyssey.
