Why can't they find Osama Bin Laden?

and why have things got so quiet from that quarter?
Are they still looking?

If they really wanted to find him then they would. From a political standpoint it probably suits Dubya to keep bin Laden at large, and then at some future point he will be able to claim that he is no longer in Afghanistan but slipped over the border into Iran which will give a pretext for sticking a few cameras at the tip of a tomahawk cruise missile and blow up a few bridges and things, probably starting world war three in the process but at the same time giving us something cool to watch on TV. :-)

bin Laden is just a name. A figurehead. I don't personally believe he was ever as important in al-Queda as the Americans have claimed, and I don't really believe his capture or death will make one jot of difference. If they make as much a hash of bin Laden's trial as they did with Saddam, it's probably best they don't catch the bugger at all.

I recon if they (the Americans) can read your newspaper head lines from up in space with one of thier satalites Im sure they can find an Arab on a donkey. Basically, Bush doesn't want him found. The Bush and the Bin Laden families have been in each others pockets for years through oil...even before 9/11. Alledgedly, as the terrors of 9/11 were happening, all airliners were grounded straight away right! So why was there an airliner flying all of Bin Ladens American based reletives out of the country? Id better stop ranting now or I will get a visit from the FBI, CIA, MI5 or some other secret force. You get the message though.

When or maybe they have already found him - I do not feel it would hit the news for a long time - as they would not want the repocussions that could happen - there is so many 'ifs and buts' on the whole issue to grant any country 'fame' for doing the act of saying we have him. I find it unbelievable that it has not been done the act of finding him - so far - yet as time goes on and different stories released on 9-ll It beggars belief to as or who caused such a sad event to happen - it was so tragic as we all know and agree.

simplisticlly speaking he has gone back home to saudia arabia,
had a shave a face lift and put back on the pounds
he did his mission
mission accomplished and returned home a job well done ,
now we have the direct line via secret flights to get the drugs anywhere in the world same day delivery ,
gw got the war excuse cia got thier income stream even the afganies got thier new wepenry ,iraqies got thier cash ,haliburton got thier foot hold just about the only thing left is iran

Personally, I think that Osama has been in custody for some little while now--- and is being held as a Hold Card for a time when the "powers that be" need a real barn burner of a coup to claim !!

Ten bucks says they know right where he is. But, it's the same thing we did in WWII with Hitler. They had plenty of chances to get him, but the worst part being, we know Bin Laden and his actions. The 2nd banana that would fill in may be much worse and more radical. (Like Hitler's 2nd in command)

Of course they are still looking, however, the Muslims are hiding him and we will never find him unless one of them turns him in for the $25 million. If this happens the guy or gal who does this is on the Muslim "hit" list. They had better leave Afghanistan or Pakistan fast.
