Minor, just a small incision. You probably could return to work the next day but you still will have some swelling and tenderness.

It is a minor operation. An outpatient procedure, really. You should NOT plan on going in to work the same day, however. Maybe take a couple of days off so you can ice down the area and make sure your pain killers are working.

it is an outpatient procedure that can be done in the dr's office. You will probably have a great deal of swelling. It is best to take it easy for a couple of days and follow the orders for keeping ice on it.
BUT, just be aware that you will still have live sperm until you completely 'flush your pipes' -- usually about 20 ejaculations.

It is a minor operation and you can return to work soon with a slight difficulty (a little tightness may be there), but no need for bed rest etc.
