1. A laptop (including wall charger)
must be pre loaded with iTunes w/ the current top40
DVD capable
2. an ipod (pre loaded w/ top40)
3.1 unit of current currency from $100 down to the penny (complete set of statehood quarters, the nickels and the golden dollars included)
4. a copy of a newspaper (local city) from 9/12/2001
5. DVD copy of VH1's "Best Year Ever 2006"
6. pictures of the most popular cars
7. vegetable seeds

my time capsules include anything that is trendy and the "in" things. today that would include a cell phone, credit card, commercial, SUV, ipod, PlayStation, CD, computer, and perhaps a vial of insulin, Prozac, stem cells and a sample saline implant, disposable diaper, latte or mocha.
My father used to make time capsules with things that he couldn't bring himself to throw away. Old photos, games, tools, etc.
