Force is never correct as it is always aggressive and never natural. It is when we attempt to force things to be in the way we desire them that we create all of our own problems. The true way of nature is to allow things to happen with as little interference as is possible.

Technically force is a physical quantity which measures how much a given mass can be accelerated.

Another equivalent point of view is to consider force as a means to measure the rate of change os linear momentum of a particle or body.
