Hi, with my first pregnancy (beautiful baby girl) I had a perfect pregnancy all the way through including the labour which was only 5 hours. Didn't tear or anything, I couldn't have asked it to go better the whole time.
Now I'm pregnant again, (7 weeks) and feel like total crap. I'm constantly on the verge of throwing up and I just feel heavy and tired.
Any ideas of how to overcome this?

Thanks everyone

You have to find what works for you. I was sick until 15 weeks, nothin helps. They say dry toast, unsalted crackers.. stuff like that. Eat small meals.

I'm 9 weeks along in my second pregnancy. My first was a beautiful boy. I don't remember feeling this yucky. I was really tired all he time but not so nauseaus. I feel like total crap, too. I eat a lot of Triscuts and popcorn. For some reason the salty foods help my tummy. I also drink Sprite. And I always have Tums nearby. Always take your pre-natal vitamins with food. I also (TRY) to do prenatal yoga. It helps with the heavy and tired part. I'm hoping this will only last a few more weeks! Good luck!

Sorry that you are feeling like crud. Do not take any medication though unless your doctor prescribes it. Remember the thalidomide disaster of the 60's. I do think you may need some prenatal vitamins which you can get from your doctor. I sympathize about you feeling sick as I was nauseous through my whole pregnancy. I suggest you have some crackers on hand and make sure your tummy has something to burn besides the lining of your tummy. As you are feeling run down though get in to the doctors soon .
