I actually do!
I've had my blankie for 28 years...I was brought home from the hospital in it after I was born. It was once a lemony yellow with silky-soft edges...and now it's faded and stained and the edges have long been worn off. I named it as a child even..."Bink"...and it was EVERYTHING...a tent, picnic blanket, wedding veil, turbin, sari (or wrap dress), cape, scarf, etc...I'd use it to keep my dolls and cat warm...I took it on vacation with me even as a child since I couldn't sleep without it. I left it in Chicago once at my Grandma's, and I was inconsolable for the 2 weeks it took her to send it back.
Over the years I obviously didn't need it anymore, but I still kept it bunched up under my pillow on my bed. Yep, still there. Thank god my husband doesn't throw it out...he teases me about it, but he's very sweet to let me keep it, even if it is kept under my pillow. =P I'm a freak, I know it...who cares! =P
And now my daughter has a favorite blankie...she's 13 months old but hers is the little tiny blankie that was made for her by a NICU nurse when she was in the NICU for 4 months.

No but I do have a security blanket that for some reason I can not sleep when it is not there. My aunt made it for me. So its a good blankie!

yes, but it's in a box put away in great condition... my son's blankie however already has 6 huge holes in it, and he never lets me have it long enough to sew them shut...

Nope. I DO have a big stuffed bear that I got when I was 5 years old... I also still use a chest of drawers I got when I was 5 years old. I am almost 46, now.

Yes, I have them both. My great grandmother made them when my mother was pregnant and, after all these years they are still in great shape.

yes, i had 2 and their both really torn up and sometimes i still sleep with them.
i dont know if i'll ever give them up!
