Etiquette says that a gentleman only puts a lady on a pedestal to assist her with her shoes.
I suppose if you aren't a gentleman & she's not a lady...go for it!

Ya know I was once put ona pedestal....it was very high and I fell and hurt myself so my answer would be: If your gonna do it put a safety net under it so she wont hit herself that hard if and when she falls off it.
